“This program is yet another evolution of Columbia’s relationship with The Boeing Company that started over 50 years ago. Not only providing fleet sustainment, this program provides a clear path to a common configuration and a true Commercial Chinook that can be supported worldwide,” said Rob Roedts, vice president, Aircraft Solutions, Columbia Helicopters.

Boeing and Columbia Helicopters will work to drive common configurations, safety, material supply and rapid fielding. CISP will be pivotal in supporting both the existing fleet operations and expansion.

CISP marks a significant milestone in the Chinook sustainment services for commercial operators. By leveraging expertise and resources, Boeing and Columbia will offer a wide range of services, including program and supply chain management, component overhaul, parts warranty, fleet health monitoring tools, and ongoing support. This holistic approach to sustainment will allow operators to focus on their core operations while ensuring cost stability.
