FAQs
How would the Virtual Airplane Procedures Trainer help my training organization?
The Virtual Airplane Procedures Trainer delivers short, high fidelity, device based lessons and interactive FMS free play so pilots can rehearse validated flight deck procedures anytime, online or offline. By focusing on hands on procedural practice, the Procedures Trainer helps training teams develop procedural competence, build proficiency between checks, shorten simulator familiarization, and improve transfer to Flight Training Device/Full Flight Simulator and line operations.
Instructors and ISDs gain a centralized authoring workspace to create, validate, version, and distribute consistent lesson content across the program, plus basic analytics to track usage and completion. Together, these capabilities let programs scale consistent, validated procedural practice across devices and locations while keeping training aligned to operational procedures.
What models can I get now, and what’s coming next?
At launch, Virtual Airplane’s first module (the Procedures Trainer, VAPT) supports the 737 8 MAX. Additional airplane models will be rolled out over time as we expand the platform.
Where is Virtual Airplane (VA) offerable (geography)?
Virtual Airplane (VA) is intended to be available worldwide but is being rolled out region by region. Today we operate servers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, which support customers in North America, Western Europe, and Southeast Asia; some countries may still be restricted due to legal, data, or network rules. We’re assessing server capacity and planning additional regional servers; if your organization needs coverage in a specific region, please contact Business Development to register interest.
What devices and offline options are supported?
VA-PT runs on iPad (native app), Windows, and Mac clients and also supports online streaming. The native iPad app provides offline lesson downloads and auto sync when reconnected; streaming via the web is available for online access.
How can I engage with Virtual Airplane?
Virtual Airplane is planned for commercial launch in 2026. If you’d like to stay informed, complete the form below and we will send webinar invitations, demo announcements, email updates, and opportunities to engage with our team as marketing materials become available closer to launch.
