Demand for aviation personnel continues

Training solutions commercial market leader, Christine Bohl, was recently invited to add her thoughts on the demand for aviation personnel and the work going on to develop more effective training. Check out the full Aviation Week article, here.

As noted in Boeing’s recent Pilot and Technician Outlook, the projected new commercial pilot and aircraft maintenance technicians needed will number in the hundreds of thousands and, as Christine shares, “there is still a significant requirement to backfill for retirements and prepare for growth.”

And answering the question from customers on flexible training solutions brought on by COVID and the increasing use of digitally enabled training solutions, Christine shared “the question being asked is, ‘How do we use technology and methodology to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of the training?”
