Boeing and Oman Air announced an agreement to continue utilizing the Airplane Health Management solution across the airline’s 787 Dreamliner fleet. The Muscat-based airline and Boeing finalized the renewed agreement during the MRO Middle East conference.
Capt. Nasser Al Salmi, Chief Operating Officer, Oman Air said, “Boeing is a trusted partner whose expertise helps us make informed decisions with confidence. Continuing our use of Airplane Health Management strengthens our ability to anticipate maintenance requirements and optimise parts and resource planning, supporting smoother operations as we continue to grow.”
Boeing’s Airplane Health Management (AHM) solution delivers real-time predictive maintenance alerts that help airlines quickly identify root causes, reduce aircraft down-time, and improve fleet readiness. AHM’s analytics-driven insights support faster decision-making to deploy the maintenance crews, parts, and equipment needed to quickly make repairs and return the aircraft to service.
“As Oman Air continues to increase the volume of its flights and expand their passenger capacity, the predictive maintenance capabilities of Airplane Health Management can support on-time performance in step with that planned growth," said Crystal Remfert, Senior Director, Boeing Digital Services. "We are pleased that our AHM solution and experienced Boeing teams will continue to help drive success for Oman Air as they streamline maintenance operations and look ahead to continued expansion."
