Frequently asked questions
Who is part of your licensed dismantler network?
We are currently working with ecube, one of the world's leading aircraft disassembly service providers to perform teardown and recycling operations. We plan to expand our global network to other AFRA accredited providers in the future.
Why is AFRA accreditation important?
AFRA created the Best Management Practices for Management of Used Aircraft Parts and Assemblies and for Recycling of Aircraft Materials (BMP). These guidelines support environmentally responsible and efficient disassembly and recycling processes, ensuring compliance with industry-leading sustainability standards. The AFRA accreditation program is the only industry-developed standard for aircraft disassembly, and aircraft materials recycling.
How does a consignment model work?
Boeing oversees airplane teardown, repair and recertification of Used Serviceable Materials (USM), and recycling and disposal of airplanes. We manage the inventory and sell USM parts to generate revenue for our customers, allowing them to focus resources on core business operations.
