Joshua Ang
MTS Product manager
Joshua is currently part of BGS Training Solutions in Maintenance Training Operations as one of the Product Leads. In this role, he oversees and ensure that all Maintenance Training courses are executed smoothly and in a professional order. He is also a product owner for Maintenance Training Services where he delivers maintenance training materials to customers who buys them to run their own courses. Formerly a Boeing Flight Services 787 Maintenance Training Instructor, he is based in Singapore and travels frequently to conduct training for airplane maintenance engineers. Joshua teaches the 787 Dreamliner Avionics Systems and ensures his students benefit from his professional instructional techniques and technical knowledge. During his training career, he also taught 737MAX. He started his aviation career as a Flight Engineer on the Hercules C130 with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. After ten years, he ventured out into commercial aviation industry as a Maintenance Instructor with a private aerospace company where he provided training to airplane maintenance engineers on the Boeing 747-400 specializing in Avionics Systems. Prior to his employment with Boeing in 2007, he was a Ground School Instructor with Singapore Airlines for four years where he trained pilots on B777 and B747-400, providing them with essential technical knowledge on airplane systems. He takes pride in providing excellent customer service and aims to deliver the highest quality product to customers.
Thom Burke
MST product specialist
Thom Burke brings over 30 years of expertise in courseware design and the delivery of training initiatives for adult learners, showcasing a distinguished career in both military and civilian aviation sectors. His extensive experience includes a decade of service with the U.S. Navy, where he specialized in electronics maintenance and training as a Master Training Specialist, and an additional 15 years with the U.S. Air Force, focusing on aviation maintenance and training. Thom’s commitment to education and training is underpinned by a robust academic foundation, including a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training, a Master of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Electronics, and an Associate of Science in Avionics Systems Technology.
Murat Köse
Turkish Technic, Type Training Manager
With nearly 30 years of aircraft maintenance experience, Murat is currently the Type Training Manager for Turkish Technic. After completing his vocational training and his experience in the general aviation field, he began working for Turkish Airlines in 1997. Initially, he served as a licensed aircraft maintenance technician. He later transferred to the training department because he believed that education plays a key role in ensuring high performance in aircraft maintenance activities.
