Differences Courses

Model and variant differences training for your qualified personnel

Boeing offers three differences training courses:
 

  • Variant – 747-400 qualified crew learn the differences between the base airplane model variant and 747-8 model variant.
  • Variant – Next-Generation 737 qualified crew learn the differences between the base airplane model variant and 737 MAX model variant.
  • Model – 777 qualified crew learn the differences between the base airplane model and the 787-8 model.
Courses include ground training and flight training taught by highly qualified instructors, allowing you to keep your experienced pilots where they provide the most value – flying instead of instructing.

Course details

We offer this course to pilots with our current airline customers.
  • Variant: A pilot holds a valid type rating in an aircraft model and seeks differences training in a variant aircraft with the same type certificate.
  • Model: A pilot holds a valid type rating in an aircraft model and seeks an additional type rating in another model.

Additional Prerequisites for Differences Courses: Type rating in the base model is required.
