We’re excited to once again head to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for EAA AirVenture – the annual celebration of all things aviation and aerospace.
Visit our location at the northwest corner of Boeing Plaza, and discover how Boeing and its family of companies support pilots and operators around the globe, and across all segments of aviation. Our staff will be available to demonstrate the latest products and services from Jeppesen and ForeFlight, plus provide assistance with new services, renewals, account management and more.
We will also be highlighting Boeing’s integrated supply chain solutions, including our comprehensive portfolio of platform agnostic parts, chemicals, and services that support aircraft manufacturers and aftermarket service providers, such as FBOs and flight schools.
Boeing Plaza will be packed full of aircraft on static display, including one of the Boeing Dreamlifters, an extensively modified 747-400 used to transport 787 Dreamliner parts between various worldwide suppliers. Be sure to check out Boeing Plaza throughout the week as different aircraft rotate in and out.

One of the most rewarding things we can do as pilots is share our passion for aviation with others. But what should you consider when taking someone for a first flight in a light aircraft? In this presentation, we’ll explore some do’s and don’ts, and how you can interact and engage with your passenger to provide the best experience possible. Armed with this new knowledge, you’ll be ready to deliver a wonderful discovery flight — and who knows, you might be the spark for someone becoming a pilot too!

Whether you are an instructor, student, or flight school administrator, learn how to get the most out of Jeppesen’s Guided Flight Discovery (GFD) Pilot Training System from Jeppesen’s lead curriculum developer. Learn out to use the components of the pilot training system—integrated ground and flight training syllabi, textbooks, maneuvers training, practical test study guide, and more! Jeppesen has been an innovative leader in human factors training and rather than just teaching facts, the private, instrument, and commercial GFD content focuses on an application-oriented approach to pilot training. Explore competency-based training and how this innovative instruction method continues to be incorporated into the GFD curriculum.

Controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) is on the FAA Ten Most Wanted list for safety improvements. In this presentation, we’ll look at the myths and the facts surrounding CFIT, and some techniques to help you avoid CFIT. We’ll also dissect accident cases to see where better decision-making could have changed the outcome. By the end of this talk, you’ll be better prepared to recognize and avoid this potential hazard.
