New agreement strengthens Boeing’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) offering and expands aftermarket access
Boeing announced a global distribution services agreement with Didsbury, an OEM specializing in aviation lifting hoists, fuel tank entry systems, and ground support handling equipment. Under the agreement, Boeing will stock and support select Didsbury products through its global distribution network. This will strengthen Boeing’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) offering and complement its existing GSE portfolio by improving availability, simplifying procurement, and providing technical support and program alignment for operators and MROs worldwide.
This agreement expands aftermarket access to lifting hoists, fuel tank entry and ground support handling equipment for operators and MROs. It complements the existing GSE portfolio by integrating Didsbury’s proven lifting and handling equipment into Boeing Distribution’s channels.
By routing Didsbury product stocking and support through Boeing’s global infrastructure and expanding US manufacturing capability via the Dallas, Texas facility, customers can expect faster delivery, improved parts availability, and simplified procurement pathways.
Aligning Didsbury equipment with Boeing aircraft programs also enables easier installation and operations, while creating a platform for collaborative Airline Tooling and GSE projects that drive future innovation and operational value for operators and MROs.
This agreement complements our existing GSE portfolio and strengthens Boeing Distribution’s ability to deliver world class ground equipment and support where customers need it most,” said Ritesh Agarwal, executive director, Business Development & Supply Chain Strategy, Boeing Global Services. “It will improve availability, simplify procurement, and enable closer program alignment.”
“This agreement with Boeing represents a significant milestone for Didsbury,” said Tom Ghigi, Managing Director, Didsbury. “It strengthens our global reach, enhances the support we can offer our customers, and ensures our products remain at the forefront of innovation and reliability in aviation. We are proud to partner with Boeing in delivering world class solutions to the aviation industry.”
