Boeing Distribution and Honeywell Sensing Solutions (HSS) have signed a global distribution agreement to expand aftermarket access to HSS aerospace and defense sensing and switching products. Under the agreement, Boeing Distribution will stock and support select HSS products through its global distribution network, with the goal of improving availability and simplifying procurement for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations worldwide.
Why it matters
This agreement is designed to expand aftermarket access to Honeywell Sensing Solutions temperature sensors, position transducers, speed sensors, oil level sensors, pressure switches, and level switches.
It covers Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) and MilSpec qualified components and supports EASA- and FAA-certified repair services. The agreement aligns on-engine sensing and interface products used in FADEC/DEEC control systems with Boeing Distribution’s global logistics and technical support, aiming to speed up MRO turnaround times and mitigate aircraft-on-ground risk.
