At MRO Asia Pacific in Singapore, Boeing and All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced two recent services agreements to support the ANA fleet:
- Boeing’s Landing Gear Exchange Program simplifies the contracting, scheduling and management of the landing gear overhaul process. Through this program, air carriers can quickly exchange landing gear that need to be repaired or overhauled with a replacement set of certified landing gear from a dedicated resource pool maintained by Boeing. This new agreement will provide for ANA’s 787-9 fleet; the airline had previously signed an agreement for a 787-8 exchange program. ANA is the largest 787 operator.
- Boeing’s Integrated Materials Management (IMM) services help maintain and manage an airline's spare parts inventory, providing items to the airline mechanic as needed. IMM provides demand planning, on-site personnel, and logistics services to optimize materials purchase, service levels and inventory costs. ANA’s renewal of the Integrated Materials Management service demonstrates the value and partnership provided through Boeing’s parts provisioning services.
