Boeing and CTT Systems announced a new agreement at MRO Americas to expand access to CTT Systems’ cabin humidity control solutions. The agreement adds 227 parts to Boeing Distribution’s comprehensive portfolio, covering humidifiers and dehumidifiers for both line-fit and retrofit installations, simplifying procurement and support for operators, OEMs and MRO providers.

“Providing operators with global access to equipment that improves crew and passenger well-being is a priority,” said William Ampofo, senior vice president, Parts & Distribution and Supply Chain for Boeing Global Services.

“CTT Systems’ solutions help address the operational challenge of very low in-flight humidity and condense related issues,” said Henrik Höjer, CEO, CTT Systems. “We’re excited to expand our partnership with Boeing Distribution to ensure operators gain timely access to OEM-approved systems and comprehensive aftermarket support.”

Why it matters

  • Improved passenger and crew well-being — CTT Systems’ active humidification addresses extremely low in-flight humidity, helping reduce dry-air-related fatigue, irritation, and sleep disruption.
  • Expanded product coverage — 227 new part numbers for humidifiers and dehumidifiers increase options for operators, OEMs and MROs.
  • Fleet flexibility — Line-fit and retrofit solutions support major platforms (humidifiers: line-fit for 787 and 777X; retrofit kits for 787/777 and A330; dehumidifiers: SFE/BFE line-fit for 737NG and retrofit availability across all narrowbody and widebody fleets).
  • Faster delivery and aftermarket support — Boeing’s inventory depth and integrated global distribution network shorten lead times and simplify sourcing for both production and aftermarket needs.

Boeing’s diverse and expansive portfolio includes more than 18 million parts, chemicals, services and integrated solutions that reduce cost, risk and complexity through a global network with localized, agile support. Boeing supports defense, commercial, rotorcraft and business and general aviation customers with production and aftermarket needs and provides 24/7 e-commerce access via Boeing Distribution.

CTT Systems is the leading producer, designer and supplier of products that solve the humidity paradox in aircraft. Founded in 1991, the company provides humidity solutions for retrofit and line-fit on commercial aircraft as well as for private jet completions.
