Boeing Flight Crew Operations Manual

Boeing will unveil new Flight Manual Licensing products at the World Aviation Training Summit (WATS), enabling expanded learner access to up-to-date training manuals.

“This is a historic product offering, Boeing is taking proactive measures to support industry safety by offering access to licensed manuals to third-party training organizations so they can supply their students with the most current materials,” said Jerry Carlon, Sales Leader, Boeing Global Services. “Providing students with regulatory compliant and operational safety updates is critical to enhancing aviation safety and learner training.”

Boeing Flight Crew Training Manual

This new product offering marks a significant milestone as Boeing is now providing access to OEM flight manuals to third parties, in addition to traditional manual distribution. Safety is at the core of everything we do and expanding access to licensed manuals ties directly back to our investment in enhancing industry safety.

The Flight Training Manuals service provides access to OEM materials covering Flight Crew Operations manuals (FCOM), Flight Crew Training Manuals (FCTM) and Quick Reference Handbook (QRH). This move allows students to gain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of Boeing airplanes, as manuals for current-production products are updated regularly.

Accessible through MyBoeingFleet, the manual service provides flight training organizations (FTOs) and airline training organizations with convenient access to the most comprehensive library of standardized and regulatory-compliant training manuals. These materials maintain uniformity of in-flight maneuvers, procedures, and operations, relieving customers of the burden of sourcing and updating these crucial resources.

Airplane models supported through our licensed manuals:

  • 737 CL
  • 737 NG
  • 737 MAX
  • 747
  • 757
  • 767
  • 777
  • 787

Subject to execution of a license agreement with Boeing, the new offering will allow third-party training providers, flight training organizations, and training service providers to meet emerging regulatory requirements and market demand for up-to-date manual access. Boeing’s licensed manuals will help users more readily support pilots learning to fly Boeing airplanes.
